I am a Psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon (L7190) and California (LCS23396). I received my Master's Degree from UC Berkeley in 1998. My experience includes working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and a range of lifestyles. I am also an instructor of human services and psychology for colleges and universities, and I provide supervision to counseling interns.
The counseling methods I apply in my work with clients include Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In addition, I have spent time studying and applying the principles of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), which includes identifying your values and purpose for living even when facing challenges. I am also the coauthor of this self-guided Positive Psychology Program: "Everyday Matters" For a Free Phone Consultation: Call Andrew at (503) 547-4695 |
